Growing Up!

It was always a very happy moment to watch my son growing fast every second bit by bit. I'm lucky to have a happy family, living with my lovely wife and my handsome son. Alhamdulillah.

Back On Shift

Today is my 1st day working after a long holiday (paternity + annual leave + off day) hehe and i'm started my shift back. Yeah, theres some of pending issue that i need to look out. Well, i think i can managed it. However, tomorrow is my off day, hahaha! Another 2 days holiday, so i can spend time with my wife and son, yahoo! Then on thursday and friday i'm working night. In the morning i have things to do, at noon have a Kopitiam session and MSS meeting = bored!. Hmm. Anyway, my mother-in-law was living with us now, i'm glad she can accompany her daughter which is my wife, thank you so much mak.

Ok lah, tu je, malas nak lepak lama2 kat office, so bored in the office, maybe the news of the increment and bonuses make me wanna change my career path, my boy is waiting for me to change his diapers. Haha. No la, he waiting for my kisses la. Daa.

Hello World!

Alhamdulillah, our baby boy were safely born on 07/04/2008 3.37a.m weight 2.64kg at UKM Specialist Center, 2 weeks earlier from the EDD (expected on 21st April). My wife and baby were in a good health. Syukur, Alhamdulillah.

I'm really happy as i am a father right now. Hihihi! We were planning to put his name Adam Rifqie bin Akram. Will try to register his name at JPN tomorrow, insyaAllah.

Thanks guys for all the wishes and prayer. I really appreciate it.

Last Ketchup!

Semalam, wifey pergi checkup for the 3rd times kat UKMSC dengan Prof. Hashim. Maybe the last ketchup check up until she deliver. Aku amik annual leave nak hantar dia. Wifey dapat MC for that day dan mintak untuk hari ni sekali. Hehe, x pe lah, kasi wifey berehat 4 hari. Poor my wifey because she also got a fever, maybe infection from me. Sorry wifey! Well, the doctor gave her the meds. Alhamdulillah, check baby sihat. Jantung semua ok. Tapi ada 1 thing that worried me and my wife, well, not so much but still worried. It's about the baby position (OP). Well, i'll keep it low. If you want to know more, can read my wifey's blog. Do pray for our baby and my wifey. Thank you.

I've informed my immediate boss regarding my leave for final exam and paternity. Hope he can approve it with no issues arise. Anyway, that's all.

Asthma

I'm sick! Yes, my asthma was back, attacking my lung! Yesterday, i got MC from my doctor. Urghh! it's really annoying since i can't breath efficiently. I feel like a fish that was caught from the pool and hunger for oxygen. Anyway, i'm getting better and better right now. I have taken an inhaling machine at the clinic to calm back my way of breathing. I hate being sick!

Non-Shift

Today is my first day working with non-shift hour, temporary only. Yes, I'm requesting it to my immediate boss as i need to be standby for my wife if she got an emergency case happen and also i need to send and fetch my wife everyday at her office until she deliver our baby. The good things is, we can save a petrol for cars, i can spent time everyday with my wife and i can get back to home early. The bad things is, maybe i have to do a lot of new task, maybe i easily get tired since before this i have a lot of free time. Well, what to do, work is work, however, i need the flexible time to manage my family since working shift is not suitable for a married guy and a papa-to-be soon. I know i should not include a personal matters with a works but i am really desperate.

Anyway, thank you so much to my immediate boss for approving my request. However, we didn't get any bonus (or increment) this year, but still i appreciate your concern.

Midterm Exam

My midterm exam is just around the corner. On 14 and 15 of March. Thank God it's my off day, so i no need to apply any leave that day. However, i heard that i need to go to our client site (ad hoc basis) on the 13rd at 6pm for client installation testing. Hmmm, it's worried me since i'm not fully prepared for the exam yet. I'm worried if i get stuck at the client site till midnight same like the previous client and that's totally shit. Ah, let's see how it goes. Anyway, this is not just my excuse for not attending any jobs that assigned for me, i already put my schedule in my to-do-list section in this blog for a long time ago, but the ad hoc jobs is always hunting me. Hey, i attended the ad hoc meeting right?! and i'm not running from it. damn!

New Government!

People of Malaysia has spoken!

BN still won the federal government but the BA has conquer 5 states of Malaysia to form a new state government. It was a very shocked results but this what people of Malaysia want. We'll see how it goes. How BN control this 5 states and how this 5 states can get money to form a government by their own if the federal government don't want to support them. We only know how PAS rule Kelantan for so long, but Selangor? Penang? Kedah? Perak? Oowwcchh!

Sorry to the Prime Minister, your plan has failed! Anyway, i hope Malaysia will still remain peace, secure and the jobs prospect is still there.

It's a BOY! yey!

It's officially a BOYY! :) Yep, my baby is a boy! Alhamdulillah! It has been confirmed that our baby is a HERO! when my wife went to UKMSC for her 2nd appointment today. Prof. Hashim scanned her belly to check our baby condition. Alhamdulillah, all fine, hopefully the baby will meet us soon with the same EDD with what the prof told us before. Syukur to Allah for the rezeki. We do print the scanned image of our unborn baby but still i don't have time to scan or take a picture using DSLR and post it to my blog. Will do it later, insyaAllah.

Regarding the jobs related, ahhhhh! Malas fikir.

What A Day!

Yeah! What a shit day! Kelmarin, hari yang sungguh tension bagi aku. Aku terpaksa menghabiskan masa seharian duduk kat office client baru kami menginstall monitoring tools dan juga IDS tools yang end-up tak success. SHIT! The problem was cause by OS not supported, shit! I have to spent my whole day there until 3 a.m with my wife too. I'm very sorry to her cause made her waiting for me with hungry stomach (i'm so worried cause she pregnant). Shit! I have no choice since theres no other people wanna stay with me except Fadhlan from deployment team, thanks bro and then, i need to ask Bob for a favor to replace me troubleshoot the problems we face. Thank you very much Bob, i have no choice and i'm very sorry.

The next day, the problem solved. My boss figure out that CentOs 5 is not supported by the monitoring software and we move from CentOs 5 to CentOs 4. I have check the IDS config files, my CSO put a line in IDS config file for passing the IDS log tru syslog server:

output alert_syslog: LOG_LOCAL3 LOG_INFO

but then, i figure out that the line was still commented in IDS config files in my company IDS and the concept is same with the client's concept. I do wonder, is this another mistake that i need to change if i want to pass up the IDS log tru syslog? Need to confirm back with our master-sifu : Mr. Halizain. He is now at Jeddah.

I also wonder, how are we gonna analyze the IDS logs if we get all the IDS logs tru syslog, it just received a header and not the full payload and how we gonna analyze and correlate with the IDS logs if the only devices logs we received was from firewalls? It's only show the permit policy of the firewalls which is just accept and deny. How? How? How? Can anybody explain this to me? I'm a noobs! I know nothing.

Well, what a shit day! I hate being a vendor! I want to be client! :(

Anyway, today was a busy day for me, my V6 roadtax was expired today, so that i must renew it by today! However, i can't renew it cause of my insurance will expire another 2 months, i need to extend my insurance another 4 months to make the roadtax possible to renew. So i have to find Kurnia Insurance office and luckily i found one at Jalan Klang Lama, thank God! so, i went to Pos Office Jalan Klang Lama to renew the roadtax, done! I also done paying all the bills: astro, cukai pintu, MARA, Citibank, fuh! That's was a big transaction of my money! Sadly, this year, my company don't give any Insentif Perayaan for Chinese New Year, so my budget was a lil' bit lari. deng!

Fuh! What a day!

One of my favorite hobbies right now is reading my friends blog, since most of my friends were technical people, i can gain a free knowledge by just reading their blog. Most of them will post about linux, unix, security, networking, how-to, codes, manuals, cool links, etc and it's shares with my interest too. It was a free way to get spoon-fed-knowledge and I like! To Be Done!

I'm so bored doing a routine right now.

For the second time, i got summon from PDRM because parking at the side of the road near my OUM building, shit!

I need to apply an annual leave on 5th, 16th and 17th of February. I have a personal issue on 5th, a LAN interview (not for applying a job) at OUM on 16th and a changing date of tutorial 4 from 24th to 17th, deng!

An OUM assignment have to be done by this week, have to submit on 17th, deng!

Have to study for mid term examination.

Have to study details about our security monitoring products for installation and analyzing, deng!

Have to study and maybe need to write a presentation slide for network security training, deng!

Argh, it's good if i can resign 24 hours notice right now, deng! hopefully.
